What are you currently studying and why did you choose your field of study?
My field is computer science. I decided to go into this field because I want to replicate the brain’s learning algorithms.
Why did you choose to participate in RUA activities?
It seemed like a good way to practice growing community.
What is a highlight of your RUA participation?
I got funding to visit a group that eventually recruited me for a postdoc. They also helped me get a prestigious and well-funded postdoc fellowship.
What advice do you have for graduate students or postdocs?
Don’t lose sight of the excitement that brought you to academia.
